Quebec reports 679 new COVID-19 cases, of which 460 are under-vaccinated-Montreal

Quebec reported 679 new COVID-19 cases and three more virus-related deaths on Saturday.

According to health officials, hospitalizations have increased by eight to 309, with 78 receiving intensive care.

Of today’s new cases, 460 were unvaccinated or were two weeks away from the first dose.

According to the Quebec Public Health Service, 90% of the state’s population over the age of 12 receives the first dose and 86% receives both.

The state says it vaccinated 11,508 people on Friday, including more than 7,600 second doses.
