The Portuguese star is the most popular player on Instagram ahead of the World Cup in Qatar, according to Oddspedia.

He has 494 million followers. In short, he surpasses all sports personalities. Ronaldo is the most followed personality on Instagram.

Another great player of all time, Argentina’s Lionel Messi comes in second with 370 million followers, while Brazil’s Neymar has 181 million followers.

Kylian Mbappé, who helped France win the last World Cup, ranked fourth with 73 million followers, while Argentina’s Paulo Dybala was second with 49.3 million. Welsh star Gareth Bale finished sixth with his 48.3 million.

Somewhat surprisingly, England’s Harry Kane remained at number 22 with 13.2 million followers.

Edmonton’s Alfonso Davis, who helped lead Canada to its first World Cup since 1986, has over five million followers and is a leader among North American players.
