Las Vegas was all upset after some of Sin City’s famous wedding chapels received cease and desist orders over the use of Elvis camouflage to perform the wedding.
The letter is from the Authentic Brands Group (ABG), a company that authorizes everything related to Elvis, and the target chapel uses a portrait of Elvis Presley without legal permission. It shows that.
“As a guardian of Elvis Presley Estate, it is our responsibility to protect his legacy,” ABG said in a statement to the CNN. “This includes ensuring that all products, services, and advertisements that utilize Elvis’ names, images, or portraits are officially licensed by Elvis Presley Enterprises.”

Presley’s ex-wife, Priscilla Presley, was asked about the situation. TMZAnd she admitted she didn’t know what was going on.
“It has nothing to do with me,” she said of the cease and desist letter.
Meanwhile, ABG quickly pointed out that their goal was not to eliminate Elvis camouflage from the Las Vegas wedding chapel.

“This property has a strong relationship with a strong global network of official Elvis tribute artists, fan clubs, festivals and licensed product partners,” the statement added. “We are not going to close the chapel offering Elvis packages in Las Vegas.”
