Prince William remembers his mother, Princess Diana, about what her 61st birthday was in the moving letter.

Prince William paid tribute to his mother, Princess Diana, on Friday’s 61st birthday.

The royal family wrote a moving letter to those who won the Diana Award in 2022. This award recognizes the social and humanitarian activities of young people.

William said: “Today I won the Diana Award. Congratulations. You are part of an inspiring generation of young people who are changing the world through your actions and I have great respect for your efforts. “

“Your story is noteworthy. Many of you face great challenges in the face of difficult times, yet you are tireless of creating a better future for all of us. Breaking down the barrier.

“Thank you for your compassion, courage, and absolute determination. You really are anthropomorphic of my mother’s legacy and I know she will be very proud of you all.”

He continued. “I don’t think she’s better than admitting the wonderful people who are spending a lot of time and effort helping the people around her in celebrating her life and work.

“I hope you’re proud that you’re making a real difference and that you’re enjoying today’s ceremony. It’s worth it!”

William’s comment was made before the 25th anniversary of his tragic death on August 31, 1997, when he and Prince Harry’s mother, Diana.

Tessy Ojo CBE, CEO of The Diana Award, said in a statement: people: “It’s especially appealing, as Princess Diana remembers 25 years ago.

“By receiving this honor, more young people will join the community and begin their journey as active citizens.”
