Phoebe Bridgers shared intimate news with fans following the announcement of a draft by Judge Samuel Alito of the Supreme Court, where Politico defeats the Roe v. Wade case. On Tuesday, the singer of the “Messiah Complex” tweeted about her abortion.
“I had an abortion last October during the tour,” she wrote. “I went to a planned parent-child relationship, where they gave me an abortion drug. It was easy. Everyone deserves that kind of access. This is a big list of places you can donate now.”
The 27-year-old musician’s tweet also included a link by The Cut, which included resources for donations to the abortion fund. On Monday night, Politico released a draft to overturn the Roe v. Wade case. This draft recognizes the federal constitutional right to abortion.

Former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama joined the Bridgers when talking about the draft. In a letter posted on each Instagram page, Obama described the impact of overturning the groundbreaking law on millions of Americans.
“Today, millions of Americans have awakened for fear that their intrinsic freedom under the Constitution is at stake,” the post’s caption read. If the Supreme Court finally decides to overturn the groundbreaking case of Roe v. Wade, it not only overturns nearly 50 years of case law, but also politics the most intense personal decision someone can make. It will be left to the whims of the house and ideology. “
The caption added, “This is my statement with Michelle on the Supreme Court’s draft decision to overturn the Roe v. Wade case.”
The groundbreaking law was passed on January 22, 1973. On Tuesday, Judge John Roberts confirmed the credibility of the draft and ordered an investigation. However, no final opinion has been announced and draft voting and language are subject to change. Opinions on the case will not be announced until June, according to CNN.
Celebrity reactions to the Supreme Court draft are as follows:
I was shocked to wake up to the news this morning. The reversal of the Roe v. Wade case will set us back for 50 years and disproportionately affect the most vulnerable women in society.
I support women’s right to make their own decisions about their health care.

Please do not make any mistakes. The majority of this country is angry tonight. Not a little majority. Overwhelming majority. I see that anger. I’m hearing that anger. I feel that anger. And to all the scary women tonight, I will fight for you and for you. I fight like hell. We all have to.

Since then, women have the right to make decisions for their bodies #RoeVWade 1973.
If Roe collapses, millions of Americans will lose access to important reproductive care.
It is important to do everything possible to protect this law.

Women’s rights are human rights, and human rights are women’s rights.
The extreme wings of the Supreme Court may try to deny its basic truth.
They may try to force their views on countries where 70% of people want to support Roe.
We will not be quiet and will not come back.
