35-year-old woman treated for non-life-threatening injuries
A woman was hit by a car at an intersection in Coldstream Tuesday morning and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Chris Terleski, Media Relations Officer for the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP, reported that a pedestrian was hit by a car at about 8:15 a.m. on November 22 at the intersection of Husband Road and College Way. said to have been received by the police.
Officers were present at the scene as paramedics treated the victims.
Terleksi said the 35-year-old woman was crossing a pedestrian crossing when she was hit by a car making a left turn from College Way onto Kalamalka Lake Road.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and was issued a citation for not giving way to pedestrians.
