Mountains is investigating arson after log houses and trailers fire in a settlement in northern Alberta.

Just before 6am on Sunday, the Peace Regional RCMP was summoned to a building fire in Little Buffalo with the fire department.
When the officers arrived, the log house and the adjacent trailer were completely swallowed. There were no residents in the house or trailer, and no injuries were reported.
Police said in a news release Wednesday that the investigation revealed that the fire was initiated by the accelerator.
Nearby surveillance footage shows a dark-colored Chevrolet Silverado with an extended taxi approaching the house and trailer minutes before the fire begins. Then it was seen to drive away.
RCMP is about to talk to the truck occupants. Anyone who has information about the vehicle, its owner or occupants will be asked to contact the police.
Little Buffalo is 465 kilometers northwest of Edmonton.
