Paralyzed stunt performer Jonathan Goodwin shares an empowering message in a new video

Jonathan Goodwin sends Instagram followers a message of hope and inspiration.

A well-known British fearless stunt artist was injured while performing an “AGT: Extreme” stunt, after which the injury revealed that he was permanently paralyzed.

In a post he shared on Instagram Story, Goodwin explains why wheelchair use has proven to be less restrictive than expected.

“I’m in a random field, but I thought I could never come to a place like this in a wheelchair,” he explained. “Then I said I would go through one and try it.”

Goodwin then pans the camera in front of the wheelchair and has a third wheel. “Put this in front of your wheelchair to deal with the slightly rough terrain,” he continues, saying that extra wheels will help him when crossing rugged terrain.

Goodwin ended the video with an inspirational note and told his followers, “Don’t assume you can’t do anything, try it.”
