One injured in rollover – TimesChronicle.ca

One person suffered injuries in a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 97 north of Oliver at approximately 10:45 this morning.

Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene just south of River Road where a white Cherokee SUV was on its roof with one occupant trapped inside.

It appears the vehicle was travelling southbound when it left the highway and rolled in a ditch. First responders were able to extricate the driver who was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

The cause is still being investigated but roads are still slick from yesterday’s snowfall.
