OPP identifies victims of deadly Middlesex County hit-and-run and looks for suspects-London

Middlesex County OPP identified the victims of a deadly escape earlier this week in the city of Adelaide Metcalf, Ontario.

According to police, at around 9:15 pm on Monday, the cyclist was driving on Calvert Drive when he hit the car.

The cyclist was reportedly thrown out of his bicycle and sentenced to death at the scene.

The OPP has identified the deceased as a 45-year-old Johannes Francis smolder in Strathroy, Ontario.

The collision damaged the passenger seat corner and headlight assembly of the vehicle.

The vehicles involved in the incident did not stay at the scene of the collision, police said.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as either the Dodge Dakota Pickup Truck from 1997 to 2004 or the Dodge Durango SUV from 1998 to 2003.

The OPP requires the police to contact the auto repair shop and scrapyard if a vehicle that matches the description has been recently repaired or if parts have been sold for the passenger seat headlight assembly.
