Letter of November 26: Can Albertans expect American-style offensive advertising from UCP and NDP?

Article content

I found a clip of Daniel Smith on Tuesday. I thought she got the point perfectly. She never stooped to criticize the opposition. She explained her vision for Alberta in a meaningful way and even acknowledged her past misjudgments. Then it was Rachel Notley’s ten minutes in the spotlight. She has no substance, she is just rhetoric. It looks like we’re in for six months of American-style offensive advertising from unions and the NDP. What’s next? Do they give Donald Trump-esque playground nicknames to those they see as a threat?

Not buy

Sorry Daniel, we don’t believe you, but try the speech that aired on Tuesday. I have no doubt that you will continue your wacky conspiracy theories to the detriment of the people of Alberta. To accuse federal liberals of buying votes with their policies and doing the same with yours is an affront to our intelligence. is clear.

he is an egg man

Despite the state of emergency law and the seizure of crowdfunding bank accounts triggered by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, hopefully this will lay eggs in Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s face once the investigation unfolds.

About oil

What is the cause of this devastating economic inflationary crisis? People all over the world are suffering. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to solve it. It’s what you need to move things around the world. Oil – it was not difficult. All the arguments I hear are they blaming war in Ukraine and climate change. So the price of oil goes up and the commodity goes up, keeping consumers glued. The world is suffering because people are obsessed with climate change. Yes, address climate change, but don’t make consumers suffer. Solution: Build pipelines to let more oil flow.

Peter Stainsby

(The chances of that happening in this climate are zero. Probably never.)
