Queen Camilla gifts Paddington Bear toys to children at Teddy Bear Picnic

After Queen Elizabeth II died in September, many mourners left more than 1,000 plush Paddington Bears outside the gates of Buckingham Palace in their tribute.
Now all of these toys are going to find new homes at Queen Camilla’s ‘Teddy Bear Picnic’ for kindergarteners.

The Buckingham Palace Instagram account shared a video detailing the taxidermy process after being left at the palace gates.
The video shows the bears being washed and stored at Clarence House and Buckingham Palace, “kept safe and dry.”
At the Royal Tea Party on 24 November, the Queen Consort will be joined by ‘Paddington’ movie stars Hugh Bonneville and Madeleine Harris. Paddington Author Michael Bond.
