OLG plans to introduce self-service kiosks in select retail stores in 2023.

Self-service lottery terminals are coming to Ontario.

Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) has announced that it will have approximately 1,400 kiosks in select retail locations starting in late 2023.

It says the device will include an “age verification” feature and a “responsible gambling message.”

“OLG employs innovative self-service technology to provide safe, reliable and convenient access to popular lottery tickets,” said President and CEO Duncan Hannay in a press release issued Tuesday. I was. “The expansion and growth of our lottery business is part of our plan to continuously improve the customer experience and provide players with innovative gaming experiences while creating value for Ontario and our retail partners. ”

OLG said it has already signed a contract with IGT Global Solutions Corporation (IGT) to design and build the new terminal.

It says it will work with retail partners and other stakeholders to “proactively build support and answer questions” about the technology before installing new terminals.
