Okanagan Sun wants to stay undefeated heading into Week 6

The Okanagan Sun wants to stay in perfect shape on Saturday night (August 27th).

After beating the Vancouver Island Raiders by a score of 58-1 last week, the Sun welcome Prince George Kodiak to town tonight.

On both sides of the ball, the sun has the upper hand this season. They top the standings, with him being the only undefeated team in the British Columbia Conference with a 4-0 record. They also scored the most points and the fewest (193 in favor, 56 against, +137 difference).

Prince George is the league’s newest team and the first win for the franchise. 1-3 per year.

Sun head coach Travis Miller said, “Prince George can’t be overlooked. “They’re winning big against the Valley Huskers and they’re getting stronger week after week.”

The Sun and the Kodiaks kicks off at Kelowna’s Apple Bowl at 4pm. Tickets are available online or at the door, and children 12 and under are admitted free.
