Man, 23, charged in November 12 Nepean shooting, woman injured

A 23-year-old Ottawa man faces charges including firing a firearm and aggravated assault in connection with the Grenfell Crescent shooting, Ottawa police said Thursday.

At approximately 3:51 pm on 12 November, a woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a street near the intersection of Slack Road and Merivale Road in Nepean.

Police said the man was due to appear in court on Thursday on multiple firearms-related charges.

Gun and gang investigators want to speak to anyone who may have information about this incident or other shootings in the city. You will be asked to contact us. 5050.
