Alberta health officials are also cheering up this holiday season by reaccepting toys as payment for parking tickets.

Alberta Health Services (AHS) has revived its Toys for Tickets campaign after pausing the program for the past two years due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, AHS said in a news release on Thursday.

Anyone who received an AHS parking ticket between November 14th and December 12th will receive a package in the original packaging to the recipient from newborn to age 17 in lieu of paying the fine in cash.
