Nokia believes Metaverse will replace smartphones in the future – Metaverse Bitcoin News

Nokia, one of the first companies to produce consumer cell phone systems, now believes the Metaverse will make cell phones obsolete. These metaverse experiences are enhanced through the use of virtual reality (VR) headsets and augmented reality glasses, allowing users to interact with some activities. Industrial applications are also important.

Nokia predicts mobile phone demise in favor of Metaverse

Nokia, one of the first manufacturers to develop mobile phone systems, predicts that the Metaverse will devastate the mobile phone trend we know today. We still have phones, but in the late 20s the metaverse experience will be the dominant form of communication.

Augmented reality devices still have a way to go, but Nokia believes growing audience interest in such devices will drive this metaverse push. Nokia’s chief strategy and technology officer, Nishant Batra, is confident about this. he said:

Our belief is that this device will be overtaken by the Metaverse experience later in the decade.

However, according to Batra’s statement, several factors need to be reconciled for this metaverse-based future to become a reality.

The key to Nokia’s digital future

In the consumer space, Nokia believes the rise of this digitally-based world will depend on several key factors, including the push companies like Meta are making to make the Metaverse a trend. Also, as one of our executives said before, consumers are more concerned about price and shape than about systems. he explained:

Widespread adoption of this technology by both businesses and consumers is key to its widespread adoption, and this will be driven by the availability of affordable, ergonomic, wirelessly connected VR and AR devices. also depends on

In this sense, the price of the popular metaverse headset has increased recently as Meta raised the price of the base headset to $400 in July. Earlier this month, the company also introduced his $1,500 premium option, the Quest Pro VR.

However, monetizing the Metaverse will be difficult to achieve as the company believes there will be fragmentation as different use cases for Metaverse experiences and devices grow. Industrial adoption will be easier as some use cases have already been explored.

Nokia expects all this connectivity to create security holes, and the company is also working to protect Metaverse users.
