Nokia predicts mobile phone demise in favor of Metaverse

In the consumer space, Nokia believes the rise of this digitally-based world will depend on several key factors, including the push companies like Meta are making to make the Metaverse a trend. However, monetizing the Metaverse will be difficult to achieve as the company believes there will be fragmentation as different use cases for Metaverse experiences and devices grow. Industrial adoption will be easier as some use cases have already been explored.

Nokia expects all this connectivity to create security holes, and the company is also working to protect Metaverse users.
