Nicola Peltz admits she and Brooklyn Beckham “did not get along at first” and the pair discusses their fairytale wedding

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz talk about their dream wedding in the latest issue British epidemic.

The lovers tied a knot in front of 500 friends and family on April 9 during a spectacular ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida.

In an interview, Peltz recalls how the duo didn’t look eye-to-eye when they first met in Coachella in April 2017.

“It didn’t work at first,” Peltz said.

The wedding was originally scheduled for the summer of 2021 and then in the fall, but was finally settled on April 9, 2022.

Peltz said: “When the world was blocked, we experienced many variations on what a wedding would look like. We didn’t know if we should have a small party early and then a big party.

“Ultimately, I wanted to have a large wedding safely as soon as possible. And we are very happy. It was great to be in front of many of the people we love again. “

Beckham adds:

He shares his highlights. “The highlight of the whole wedding for me was the first time I met her in that dress. It was the first time in her life that I felt her breathless.”

Peltz’s mother, Claudia, unknowingly asked the seamstress to sew an evil eye to protect her daughter on her big day.

Peltz adds: “I shed tears and I’m glad she showed it to me after the ceremony.”

Elsewhere in the chat, the duo talks about having Wendy’s food truck at an afterparty. Since the bride’s father, Nelson Peltz, is a major investor in the company, they arranged to serve cheeseburgers, french fries and chicken nuggets in the bash.

Beckham went on to say, “I didn’t eat at all until I got to Wendy’s truck, so I ate three burgers,” he said. “That was my idea and the perfect finish.”
