A new off-the-grid medical van called Wellness On Wheel will soon be available for the northern community of Saskatchewan.

The purpose of medical vans is to provide basic medical services to rural areas that are otherwise inaccessible or difficult to access.

Medical vans are a medical one-stop shop and are used to provide distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Vans provide healthcare professionals in the space needed to provide medical care and have many important features.

Steven Glass, co-founder of Wellness on Wheels, says this is just the beginning. He wants to have more Medibang in his fleet sooner or later.

“We are pleased to continue working with the Saskatchewan Department of Health (SHA) to promote these vans in a variety of ways to meet their health needs,” Glass said. “We look forward to the future of Saskatchewan and will expand it throughout Canada.”
