There’s another Star Wars show, and it’s undergoing some serious changes! But will it make the MUST-WATCH Top 10? A box office darling receiving negative attention? You’ll have to read on to find out!

We start this week with a meta sitcom about sitcoms!

reboot It’s a new show starring Rachel Bloom (Creator and star of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) will be starring as a TV writer pitching a reboot of the beloved sitcom called Step Right Up. It’s a hugely popular sitcom of the early 2000s, and the cast all go crazy. (played by Jawbreaker’s Judy Greer) is stuck in low-budget sci-fi, and the other main star (played by Key and Peele’s Keegan-Michael Key) is a failed attempt to become a movie star. All three need career advancement, but it’s unclear if they’ll be able to get along 20 years from now. Are they? The show also features Paul Reiser (Stranger Things), Christa Marie Yu (Doctor Ken) and Calum Worthy (American Vandal).

The first few episodes are available on Disney+, with more coming out weekly!


Roux

Where to watch: Netflix

Now it’s time for some action!

Roux It’s a new thriller starring Allison Janney (From me, Tonya, and West Hall) As a woman living alone in the wilderness. She has a dog, but it’s the only other life she interacts with. She lives a quiet life, but one day her close neighbor (played by Birds of Prey’s Jurnee Smollett) frantically runs to the door and says her daughter has been kidnapped. . The two decide to head into the woods and search for her, hoping to save her life before the kidnappers do something horrible to her. It has a dark history that somehow leads to the mystery.The movie also stars Logan Marshall-Green (from Upgrade).

Andor

Where to watch: Disney+

Next, let’s travel to the distant past in a galaxy far, far away!

Andor A new prequel series based on the character of Cassian Andor (played by Diego Luna Terminal and Narcos: from Mexico), the dashing rebels of Rogue One. The film focuses on the beginning of his involvement in the Rebellion, making his character much more hopeful than originally portrayed in Rogue One. The series follows Obi-Wan Kenobi and is primarily led by Mon Mothma (played by Genevieve O’Reilly in “Young Victoria”) and Ruten Rael (played by Stellan Skarsgard in “Mamma Mia!”). It depicts the formation of an insurrection. The show also features Adria Arjona (from Morbius), Forest Whitaker (from Last King of Scotland) and Kyle Soller (from Anna Karenina).

jazzman blues

Now it’s time for some good old blues!

jazzman blues The latest movies from Tyler Perry (Madea creator, actor who appeared in Gone Girl and Don’t Look Up). The film, which premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, tells the story of the fictional singer Bayou Boy (played by Mother’s Milk’s Joshua Boone). He grew up in a small town and experienced copious amounts of racism from all local whites. He fell in love with a fair-skinned woman (played by Solaire Pfeiffer in Hamilton on Broadway) and the two planned to live a long life together. and Bayou decides to come up with a way for him to enter that rich world in order to try to win her back.

Florence Pugh as a young couple (from Midsommar and Black Widow) and Harry Styles (from Dunkirk). He works for a company called Victory Projects, which created a picture-perfect suburb for the two to live in. Her character in Pugh isn’t entirely content with staying home, cooking, cleaning, and maintaining an orderly home, as her husband and his employer would say. she should Instead, she wants to know what the company does and why they are so secretive about it. Kroll (“Big Mouth”) and Chris Pine (“Star Trek”) also appear.
