Oh sleep well. I’ve been obsessed with my bedroom lately! Let’s talk about how to achieve LA vibes in your sleeping space, no matter how big or small! These are my rules of thumb when creating a sleeping haven with a crisp, clean, and inviting California vibe. I had to add the Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance starter kit. These bulbs use smart technology, just download the app to instantly set the mood with millions of shades of white and colored light.

I painted the ceiling with Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace OC-65 and added a fresh coat of Benjamin Moore Smoke 2122-40 to the closet door to give the room a pop of color. I wanted to keep it simple, so I used Metrie Complete Shiplap. Since it’s pre-painted, it didn’t need painting or staining, saving time in other project areas.

The bed is the heart of the bedroom, so I wanted it to look beautiful and help my guests get a good night’s sleep. Compact Bloom from Sleep Country Got her mattress, pillows, linens, duvet and duvet cover. We kept neutral tones throughout the design to create the illusion of more space. HomeSense was the next stop for artwork on feature walls, side table lights, cushions, rugs and hooks. They have an endless selection to meet all your needs at amazing prices.
