A group of parents who lost their children to the opioid crisis will soon hold awareness events across BC
Moms Stop the Harm is a network of Canadian families affected by substance use-related harm and death. The grassroots group will be holding events to coincide with International Overdose Awareness Day around the world on August 31st.
Activities at each event will vary by community and group, but may include Naloxone training, resources, guests, open mics, music, candlelight vigils, and other ways to remember loved ones in an open and positive way. increase.
Many people who have lost loved ones to opioid overdose crises also display purple chairs, and many Moms Stop the Harm events allow you to bring your own.
