EDMONTON, Alberta, OCTOBER 20, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Mineworks Technologies Inc.(“Company” Also “mine works“) (TSXV: MWX) (OTCQB: MWXRD) (FSE: YRS WKN: A2DSW3) is pleased to provide an update on the location of the first commercial plant.
We have secured a place to house Module 1 of our commercial building in the Heavy Industry Zone. This 30,000 sq. ft. facility has additional space available, has all the infrastructure needed to start production in Module 1, and has future potential as the commercial facility grows beyond Module 1. can be expanded. The building design and access to the yards meet all anticipated future growth. Meets requirements and meets all industrial specifications including power and water. The new space is located in a county bordering Johnson City, Tennessee.
Mineworx met with local leaders, in addition to representatives from economic development and planning groups working with the company to ensure that all necessary permits and processes are completed before the required timelines. To facilitate this process, Mineworx contracted with a company to provide modeling and design layouts utilizing 3D laser imaging equipment.
A benefit of the new location is that the company has qualified for a Valley Incentive Program (VIP) Performance Grant from the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). This grant program will invest in competitive economic development projects for new and expanding companies in the TVA region. Award amounts are paid directly to the company and are flexible for approved purposes. The funding amount is based on his five-year economic impact of the project and is at the discretion of TVA Economic Development.
