‘Mercer is all these people’: Vancouverites rally over death of Iranian woman in police custody

Hundreds of Iranian-Canadians and supporters gathered outside the US consulate in Vancouver on Thursday to stand in solidarity with demonstrators who took to the streets of the Middle East theocracy.

On Thursday, the US government announced sanctions against the morality police, but outside the Vancouver consulate protesters called for more action. Banners were hung with pictures of Amini and some called for justice.
