Meghan McCain says Joy Behar was the reason she left ‘The View’.
In an interview with The Commentary Magazine Podcast, McCain referenced comments Behar made when she returned from maternity leave in January 2021 after giving birth to her daughter Liberty.
McCain said, “I finally got back on the show. And the day I got back on the show, Joy Behar said on-air, ‘No one missed you. We didn’t miss you.’ You shouldn’t have come back.”

The star vomited before returning to her office and calling her brother, who convinced her to leave the show.

McCain’s comments came a day after Alyssa Farrah Griffin and Ana Navarro were announced as the new “The View” hosts.
