MAX Power has begun drilling nickel-cobalt-PGM at Nicobat in the Canadian Business Journal

Vancouver, British Columbia, March 11, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — MAX Power Mining Corp. (CSE: MAXX) (“Max power” or “society”) Has begun diamond drilling at the Nikobat Property (“Nikobat” or “Property”) in northwestern Ontario. We are targeting the potential of nickel-cobalt-platinum group metal (“PGM”) massive sulfides in Pottstownship. MAX Power aims to determine if such an object can be a source of geophysical conductors.

Rav Mlait, CEO of MAXPower, commented: At the same time, as a new company, we continue to appreciate project opportunities across a wide range of commodity sectors as the resource bull market intensifies. “

Nikobat is located approximately 20km southeast of the Rainy River Gold Mine in New Gold, in the heart of the unexplored portion of the Rainy River Greenstone Belt in northern Ontario. This area is considered promising for nickel-cobalt PGMs due to the presence of major strike-moving faults that facilitate the placement of intrusive rocks from mafic to ultramafic.

In 2018, Crystal Lake Mining (now Enduro Metals) completed an aerial magnetic and electromagnetic survey at Nikobat. The purpose of the study was to depict the magnetic and concomitant electromagnetic anomalies that could be caused by massive sulfide mineralization. Multiple conductors were identified, and the two highest-ranked anomalous conductors were modeled by Condor Consulting Inc. in Denver, Colorado, to determine the depth and shape to target the drill hole. The focus of the March 2022 reconnaissance training program is to test the highest priority conductive response.

MAXPower’s geological consultant, Ronacher McKenzie Geoscience in Sudbury, Ontario, oversees the drill program.
