“Married … with kids” is getting an animated reboot featuring the original cast

Fifteen years after the broadcast stopped, “married … with children” is planning to return.

according to Hollywood ReporterAn animated reboot of the classic Fox Sitcom is underway, with the original cast members of her show signing on.

Ed O’Neill, Katey Sagal, Christina Applegate and David Faustino will replay their roles in VoiceOver, and the writer and executive producer of “Family Guy” will be the showrunner of the new series.

The original “Married … with Children” was released in 1987 and aired for 11 seasons, and along with “The Simpsons” a few years later, it was a huge success while establishing the fledgling Fox at the time as the main network. It fascinated the viewer.

In 2014, Sony sought to develop a spin-off around Faustino’s character, Bad Bandy, but it never got off the ground.
