Maple Leafs trades Murasek, the first round pick to the Blackhawks

The Toronto Maple Leafs have exchanged goalkeeper Petrum Rasek for the first round pick (25th overall) in this year’s NHL Draft with the Chicago Blackhawks for the second round pick (38th overall).

Murasek had a lonely season in Toronto last year suffering from injuries. He had an ERA of 18-12-6, an ERA of 3.34 and an ERA of .888.

Mrazek has a three-year, $ 11.4 million contract for two years.

Jack Campbell, Toronto’s first goalkeeper last season, is an unlimited free agent on hold.
