Mandy Moore admits the penultimate’this is us’episode’destroyed’she:’I threw it after reading it’

The last few episodes of “This Is Us” will be inspiring.

Mandy Moore, who plays Rebecca Pearson at the popular show at The Tonight Show on Tuesday, chats with Jimmy Fallon and tells fans that he may need a day off to handle one episode in particular. I warned you.

Moore said:

“And maybe that’s because it’s really close to my bones. Similarly, this has been my life for the last six years … At the same time, I need to say goodbye to the character, family and friends. Also, this character I happened to say goodbye, so a lot of things are wrapped up.

“Still, for example, I think I might need to take a break from work.”

The actress said, “But the finale is a little more hug. I think it’s a little more levity. Yes, the penultimate one destroyed me. I feel it might destroy people.”

Fans of the show have seen Moore’s character Rebecca fight dementia. She needs to see her children Randall (Sterling K. Brown), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Kevin (Justin Hartley) say goodbye to her mother.
