Baby, doubling Papifu Ancho! Maluma unveiled his wax figure in Medellín, Colombia.
On Monday, the “Hawái” singer first turned to his portrait at the Medellín Museum of Modern Art (MAMM). Maluma 2.0 is an exact replica of the world’s superstar, featuring Versace’s custom double-breasted suit and black Bottega Veneta shoes. Consistent with the exact features of the 28-year-old, the statue is complete with a tattoo on his neck and a tattoo on the chest of a signed lion peeking from the top of the jacket.
This is the first time the museum has unveiled a statue in South America. Wax figures will be on display at the Medellín Museum of Modern Art from April 26th to 29th. It will then be returned to the United States for display at Madame Tussauds in Orlando.
In a statement to ET, the “HP” singer shared how important the moment was to him. “It was touching that we were able to make history in my country, have this awareness, and put a person next to a symbolic person to make our dreams come true,” Maruma said. ..

“I am grateful for the efforts of the museum team and for bringing it to the beautiful Medellín,” he added.
Global superstars also shared the moment on his Instagram. “Today’s baby is 2×1 😂,” wrote a Latin music superstar next to the video. “For the first time in the history of the @madametussaudsusa museum, they brought people to South America, especially Colombia 🇨🇴 for the cultural Parcerossss !!”
In the video, the camera pans near the wax figure, then pans out and you can see the “Sobrio” singer standing next to him laughing.
At Maruma’s “Medaroen Elmapa” concert on April 30, the singer will perform in front of 40,000 fans at the Estadio Atanasio Girardo Soccer Stadium.
For fans who can’t do that, the show will be broadcast exclusively live on Prime Video and Amazon Music at 10pm Eastern Standard Time / 7pm Pacific Standard Time.
Maruma can celebrate this summer as she takes over Sin City on the Marmarland weekend from June 23rd to June 25th.
A three-day festival-style weekend will take place at Resorts World Las Vegas. In addition to Maluma, there will be unique performances and events by other Latin superstars such as Becky G, Breathed, DJ Snake, Zion & Lennox.
