‘Last step’: Huskies have one final game ahead of the Vanier Cup

The Huskies have one All-Canadian in their first team — fourth-year receiver Daniel Perry — and three in their second team (Nyhus, defensive back Charlie Ringlund and kicker David Soley). .

“You try to win football games and get the statistics, but you can’t really control what voters do,” she said. “I’ve known Kevin for seven or eight years. I played in Canada and I’m so happy for him, he deserves an award, just like I thought he was, like Kion was, like Malcolm was. There’s not much I can do about that.
