Tony Dow, best known for his role in the 1950s sitcom Leave It to Beaver, was diagnosed with cancer.
according to TMZDow and his wife Lauren made an announcement Thursday, admitting that they were “heartbreaking” to share the news.
The couple didn’t elaborate on the types of cancer Dow has, but they are grateful in advance to the fans for their prayers and support.

Dow played Warrior Cleaver, brother of Theodore “Beaver” Cleaver (Jerry Mathers), on his beloved sitcom throughout the period from 1957 to 1963.
As TMZ It points out that this is not the first health problem that plagued Dow, the current sculptor who was hospitalized for pneumonia last summer.
