Drew Barrymore looks back on 20 years of her style, says ‘Charlie’s Angels’ star was ‘inspired by Destiny’s Child’

Drew Barrymore is quite the fashionista, so picking just a few of her key style moments from the last two decades was definitely quite the challenge.

One of the dresses chosen was the matching white Stella McCartney pantsuit and black bra worn at the 2003 Los Angeles premiere of “Charlie’s Angels 2: Full Throttle.”

Barrymore recalls posing in white with co-stars Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu. They incorporated colors, fabrics, and styles, but made them very different for each body type.

“For me, it goes back to my love of tailoring, not ‘one size fits most.’ I let everyone know that I am and that I am dressed to feel good.

“We got into a white vintage El Camino car with an orange interior. did.”

Barrymore also talks about the Andrew Gn backless white gown she wore at the 2009 Hollywood premiere of “Gray Gardens.”

Calling it one of her “favorite looks,” the “Drew Barrymore Show” host said, “Inspired by all the pin-up girls of the ’60s, I grew my hair out. No more extensions.” I couldn’t.

“You can create a city in that head. And I’ve always wanted to wear a bib dress. A statement bib, definitely. So much fun. One of my favorite looks I’ve ever worn.” And he’s a perfect character.”

Barrymore later opened up about the Kate Spade dress she wore on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno in 2013, claiming she was pregnant at the time but no one knew.

He said: So I had to find something that fit and it made me comfortable. It was the first costume I wore, but kept the news a little quieter.

“My first ‘outing’ of my pregnancy was when I walked out of the clinic with my sonogram in hand and there were paparazzi in the parking lot. After the information came out, the second time I tried to do it in a different way.

“Women are very stressed. It didn’t feel silly to walk out waving an ultrasound chart was my new white flag to surrender to my new life. To put it in a weird, morbid way, it’s like, “Oh, the pressure is gone.” The news is out. Move on,” she adds, spotted in her photo.
