Kokihara Highway by Hope Returns to Season 11 of Highway Thru Hell

Coquihalla Highway will be featured in the latest season of Highway Thru Hell, which premieres Monday night (September 26th).

The popular show returns for its 11th season, and once again as Hope’s own Jamie Davis Motor Truck & Auto Limited and several other heavy vehicle rescue and recovery towing companies operate along the highway in BC Interior. We will feature the Kokihara Highway. The teaser video released on the program’s official Twitter is @HWY through hellsuggesting a “catastrophic landslide” that would pose problems for rescue missions.

First airing in September 2012, the show has achieved international fame and popularity, spawning two spin-off programs, Heavy Rescue: 401 and Mud Mountain Haulers. Initially focused on the highways around Hope, coverage included parts of Alberta when Jamie Davis Motor Trucks tried to capture contracts in neighboring states. The company has also been able to continue working during the pandemic despite restrictions and mandates.

The first episode airs this Monday on Discovery Canada at 6 p.m. Pacific Time.
