Police in London, Ontario, have charged a Kincardine man after several women came forward over suspicious activity at an apartment complex on the southern edge of the city.

Between November 12 and November 14, a man wearing a jacket bearing the name of a security company was seen attempting to enter the complex and was later captured by video surveillance knocking on doors of multiple units. was given.

Investigators reported that on one occasion, after a man knocked on the door, a woman walked out and the suspect attempted to gain access to the unit, touching the woman in a sexual manner during that time.

At 10:15pm on 12th November, the London Fire Department called local police to the same premises after the fire alarm went off and an aggressive man was trying to enter the building.

The man had fled the area when police arrived, but investigators say the person is the same suspect involved in previous suspicious activity at the complex.

Kincardine, 51, was charged with sexual assault, two counts of criminal harassment for repeated communication, unlawful residence, false alarm of a fire, and possession of a Schedule I substance.
