Kelsey Grammer showed off her old-school style on the red carpet at the ACM Honors in Nashville Wednesday night.
That’s because Ballerini wore the exact same white dress that Twain wore at the 1999 Grammy Awards. The Canadian country superstar won two Grammys when her hit single “Still the One” won top honors for Best Female Country, Her Vocal Performance and Best Country for Her Song. According to Ballerini’s rep, she’s actually wearing of It’s a dress, not a copy.
“Shania was more than happy to lend me the dress when Kelsey reached out. [was] It’s really fun,” said the rep people.
Before appearing on the red carpet, Ballerini shared a quick tease on social media.
“Sisters of traveling dresses… Guess where @shaniatwain’s #GRAMMY dresses will be off next.
In 2020, Twain reminisced in an interview about a gown created by designer Mark Bower. trend.
“Grammys, it’s always a great night, isn’t it? It’s always a great moment,” Twain recalled. “It fits the Audrey Hepburn theme so much.
