Katy Perry responded perfectly to the “American Idol” contestants who were clearly unaware that they were dating John Mayer.
During the Top 11, Noah Thompson performed Mayer’s “Heartbreak Warfare.” Thompson thought he was Perry and was asked to choose which judge assigned him the song to sing.
“Noah, I’m wondering if you can tell me on Wikipedia,” Perry replied cheerfully before slipping onto the floor. “I was triggered!”

“Who pays for my extra hour of treatment?” Perry later asked Luke Bylan, who chose the song.

Twitter responded in the same way to Thompson’s choice of Perry.

“Heartbreak Warfare” is about another Mayer exe, Jennifer Aniston, while his song “Still Feel Like Your Man” is about Perry, who dated from 2012 to 2014. He said.
Thompson would have been around 12 at the time.
