Katy Perry wants to be the real mother of her daughter Daisy.
Appearing on the “Smartless” podcast this week, the 37-year-old pop star talks about her decision not to hire a full-time nanny for her 2-year-old.

“I work a lot, and I’ve always worked a lot,” she says. “I have a great nanny, but I don’t have a full-time nanny. Because I don’t think I’ll ever know how to take care of my daughter the way I should.”

Perry also talks about some big milestones Daisy has gone through recently.
“She’s two years old, so she’s saying new words every day,” she says. “And the other day she said some words I didn’t teach her, and I was like, ‘Damn. it doesn’t feel good.
The singer also praises her husband, Orlando Bloom, saying, “Dad is the best.”
