Kanye West on co-parenting with Kim Kardashian: ‘It’s not just women’s decisions… Men have choices too. Men’s voices matter’

Kanye West talked about co-parenting with Kim Kardashian in a new interview with Good Morning America, claiming that “the male voice matters.”

The rapper said of Kardashian, who filed for divorce in February 2021, “This is the mother of my children, and God is calling me to be strong, so even in my frustration, I’m causing I apologize for the stress.

“In order to raise children, this person needs to be less stressed, have the best sanity of mind, and be as calm as possible.”

The pair have children North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.

He insisted on parenting. A school in California that he started as a tribute to his late mother.

“As a father, as a Christian,” Ye said, “I have a right to say what my children wear, what they see, what they eat.

“I have a platform where I can say things that many dads can’t say out loud.”

The musician continued. It has to be co-parenting. It’s not just a women’s issue. Similarly, men also have choices. Male voices are important. ”

Elsewhere in the candid interview, Ye opened up about his collaboration with Gap and Adidas. He recently announced that he was parting ways with Gap, and also revealed his feud with Adidas over control of his recent Yeezy Day launch Creative.

“It was like ignoring the voice of something I co-created. I co-created products with Adidas. I co-created products with Gap,” he said.

“I mean, I was there for a specific agenda, not for this dream I had of Yeezy Gap being everything it could be or what Gap could be.

“It’s time to make your own.”

West also spoke about the controversial 2020 presidential election, telling GMA that he “absolutely” plans to run again, but did not specify when.

“It was not God’s time then,” he said.
