Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler are official red carpets at the 2022 Met Gala

Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler made their debut as a couple on the red carpet.

The two participated in the 2022 Met Gala together in style for the first time. Gerber wore a complex lace metallic dress with a notch on his waist and long hair with loose waves. Butler wore a black outfit with a silk tie loosely hung around his neck.

Their first red carpet debut is official W magazineThe annual Best Performance Party in Los Angeles, this was their first appearance as a couple at the Met Gala.

Rumors about the two began to fly in December 2021 after being discovered in yoga together after they disbanded. Gerber broke up with his one-year boyfriend Jacob Elordi, and Butler broke up with his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.

The theme of Met Gala 2022 is “Gilded Glamor”, which was inspired by the Costume Institute’s exhibition InAmerica: Anthology of Fashion. Participants are encouraged to recreate the charm and spirit of New York’s Guilded Age from 1870 to 1890.
