Justin Timberlake reveals how his friendship with Ellen DeGeneres began when he made his 24th and final appearance on Tuesday’s show.

DeGeneres shows a clip of 22-year-old Timberlake on September 9, 2003. The singer is now 41 years old and chatted with her host as her second guest.

The duo laughed when Timberlake put the first pair of DeGeneres’ famous underwear on the head of the throwback clip.

Timberlake told DeGeneres at the beginning of the interview:
