Johnny Lotten calls “Pistol” director Danny Boyle “A ** Hall” during live television

The Sex Pistols lead singer isn’t happy with the new series about the band.

John Lydon, well-known to many as Johnny Lotten, blamed Danny Boyle’s biography “Pistol” for his appearance on Monday’s British talk show “The Morning.”

During the interview, co-host Allison Hammond presented Redon with a quote about him from Boyle.

“I love Redon for what he does and I don’t want him to like it. I think he has an absolute right. Why do you change your lifelong habits? “The director said.

“You’re a ** hole,” Redon mentioned Boyle and urged Hammond and co-host Dermot O’Leary to apologize to viewers for the language.

But on Twitter, Sex Pistols fans had no problem with their vows.

After O’Leary defended the “pistol” trailer, Lydon commented: “I think that’s because reality is far more important than this mountain of nonsense.

“Of course I’m angry with it. I was the one who wrote those songs. I gave them their image. I gave them everything. And they gave them everything. I did this pretty sneaky kind of work behind me. “

The series will be starring Maisie Williams, Dylan Lewellin, Louis Partridge, Emma Appleton and Anson Boone.

The “Pistol” will be streamed on Disney + from May 31st.
