Closing arguments finally began four days after the closing arguments were presented to the jury in the long Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard defamation trial.

The verdict is Scheduled to be announced at 3:00 pm ET.. Global News is streaming the decision live in the video above.

Depp on tour will not attend court for a verdict. He is expected to have heard of it.

In this six-week trial, actors and ex-spouse competed through a legal team, claiming they were real victims and portraying them as aggressive abusers.

Depp, 58, sued Hard, 36, for defamation in the Fairfax County Circuit Court in a December 2018 editorial.

The fate of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is now in the hands of the jury when deliberations begin.

Hard has never nominated Depp in the article, but his lawyer argued that it had a devastating impact on his career, reputation, and personal life.

“Your presence shows where your priorities are,” said a Heard spokesman. “Johnny Depp plays guitar in the UK and Amber Heard is waiting for a verdict in Virginia. Depp is taking his snicker and lack of seriousness on the tour.”

In the closing remarks on May 27, both teams pressured the jury to find a verdict in their favor.

Team Depp claimed that Haad was lying both in public and in testimony, creating a false story that made Depp look like an alcoholic drug addict “monster.” In his testimony, Depp stated that he had never had a substance abuse problem (with the exception of Roxycodon, he claims he is no longer addicted).

During the trial, the jury heard several illustrations of alleged assaults from both parties, including the now infamous allegation from Depp that Hard had amputated his fingertips in a glass bottle.

The version of Hard’s story couldn’t say for sure how Depp lost his finger, but she was the victim of numerous assaults in his hands, including alleged sexual assault. Stated.
