Joey Chestnut takes another victory.

The Gluttony Champion solidified his rule by winning his 15th victory at the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest on Coney Island.

He was unable to break the record for 76 dogs in 2021, but ranked first against Geoffrey Esper in second place who ate 48 dogs and James Webb in third place who ate 41 dogs. I got it. Sports news..

“I slowed down, but it was a crazy contest,” Chestnut later commented. The athlete, who was competing on crutches, admitted that he did not notice the pain in his leg until the end of the competition.

But one of the weirdest points during the competition was when protesters attacked the stage with a Darth Vadermask.

Not missing a beat, Kuri strangled the protesters and immediately returned to the contest. It wasn’t aired at that moment, but it patrolled on social media.

With this victory, he has won six times in a row. His challenging series of victories from 2006 was defeated in 2015 when he lost to Matt Stonie, but since then he has regained the title of champion.

The Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest was founded in 1967 and is held annually as part of the celebration of American Independence Day in New York.
