Jimmy Kimmel tested positive again for COVID-19. “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Host revealed on Tuesday that he was still infected with the virus after sharing that he was infected with COVID earlier this month.

“I’m a very positive person. I tested positive again. Kimmel wrote on Twitter on Tuesday night, revealing that John Mulaney and Andy Samberg will be joining the host at midnight on Wednesday.

“The great John @Muranny and Andy Samberg @TheLonelyIsland are willing to host @JimmyKimmelLive for me tomorrow,” he added.

Kimmel’s positive test results are available just days after he first tested positive for the virus, and just days after returning to hosting operations on May 9.

“Our daughter brought us Covid (although we specifically asked her not to do that) everything is fine, I’m backed by double vaxxed, but the show Don’t continue, “the 54-year-old tweeted on May 2. She thanks to tomcruise & @ iliza, and Mike Birbiglia @ birbigs for filling in for me from tomorrow night. “

Kimmel shared staying at home with his wife Molly McNearney and her two children, Jane, 7 and 5 years old Billy.

Comedian Mike Birbiglia, who replaced Kimmel, made a wish in response to his comments.

“I must be the first person to get off a Southwest Airlines flight and find out that they are hosting a late-night talk show as a guest,” the comedian wrote at the time. “I send love to Kimmel. See you tomorrow on TV. ❤️.”

The remaining guests this week include Cheryl Hines, Milo Ventimiglia, Jessie Buckley, Ryan Seacrest and Joe Keery. Musical guests include Gang of Youths, Franz Ferdinand and Train.

Other late-night hosts who have fought COVID-19 in recent months include Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, Jimmy Fallon and James Corden. Colbert returned as a host of the “late show” on Monday, but was removed from the show for two weeks due to a recurrence of the virus.
