How the Cardano Foundation helped launch this NFT project

The Cardano Foundation has announced its support for the launch of a new Non-Fungible Token (NFT) collection that bridges the physical and digital worlds. Created by Christian Etter and Alexander Brunner, the collection is called Etter Edition 01 NFT.

According to a Cardano Foundation press release, the collection is hosted on the Cardano blockchain, a minted Web3 infrastructure provider based in NMKR, Switzerland. One of the unique features of this collection is the option to exchange digital assets for physical pieces.

In that sense, purchasers of Etter Edition 01 will be able to keep the generative motion graphics of NFTs or physical creations hosted by the Cardano blockchain. Unlike other popular NFT collections, the Etter Edition 01 will be something collectors can keep alongside traditional works of art.

Christian Etter, one of the brains behind the collection and an artist of national and international renown for his work at the intersection of the digital world and society, describes the NFT collection as an example of how the Cardano blockchain will connect art to art. Cardano Foundation Celebrates Bridging the Digital and Real Worlds

This NFT collection piece revealed by the Cardano Foundation will be supported by “advanced metadata features.” Digital works are therefore created by decentralized software that has the ability to constantly modify digital paintings over time.

In that sense, the quality of each piece will be unique. The Cardano Foundation claims that this feature ensures that the collection possesses “authentic and unaltered” works of art that combine digital code as a primary element. This combination represents a bridge between the digital and physical worlds.

Alexander Brunner, co-creator of the collection and adviser to the Swiss government on blockchain and digital assets, added:
