Critically injured man taken to hospital in Burnaby shooting on Monday – BC

A man was taken to hospital after a midnight shooting in Burnaby, British Columbia on Monday.

Police responded to a shooting at a home on Nissdale Street near Smith Avenue just before 11 p.m.

Crime scene tapes are seen before and after the home.

Police said one man was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect or suspect’s vehicle has not yet been identified, police confirmed.

The Burnaby RCMP said it was too early to tell whether the shootings were linked to gang conflicts in the Lower Mainland.
