Calgary Man Charged with Human Trafficking Wanted on Canada-Wide Warrant

Police have issued warrants across Canada to arrest a Calgary man suspected of being involved in human trafficking.

Officials in the Human Trafficking Division of the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team have been charged with exploiting women for financial gain from sexual services and assaulting and threatening one of the victims, Tevin Laramie Watson. They say the 30-year-old recently lived in Calgary and has ties to Grand Prairie, Montreal, Winnipeg and Vancouver.

ALERT says it has identified multiple survivors since it began investigating in February 2021.
“We want to make sure this perpetrator is found and detained, and we are enlisting the help of the public to find him. , more women could be victimized,” said the sergeant. Colleen Bowers from ALERT Calgary.

Laramee-Watson faces a total of 10 charges, including:
- assault that causes physical harm;
- issue threats;
- Human Trafficking x2;
- Monetary gain from human trafficking x2;
- communication for the purpose of obtaining a person’s sexual services in exchange for x2; and
- Advertise an offer to provide sexual services in return x2.
