GLOBL JAM Basketball: What You Need to Know About Toronto’s International Showcase

The first GLOBL JAM event in Toronto this week was created with some key goals in mind. It’s about giving young Canadian basketball talent the opportunity to play some of the world’s top competitions. And let them do it at home.

Created by Sportsnet and Canadian Basketball, the showcase tournament will feature an international team of women and men under the age of 23 and will be held at the Matami Athletic Center from Tuesday to Sunday. You can watch all the games live on Sportsnet and SNS NOW.

The main event is GLOBL JAM FIVES, a 5 to 5 tournament with men’s and women’s teams from around the world. Each team will play three round-robin games before entering the semi-finals on Saturday. Semi-final winners will clash to win a gold medal on Sunday.
