The 9th Annual Saskatchewan Independent Film Awards were held Saturday night at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum in Regina. Hosted by Regina theater artist Kris Alvarez, the evening featured film screenings and an awards ceremony honoring the state’s best independent filmmakers.

Best Technology Award: Dylan Heilcrook, cinematographer of Hand of the Druid.

Audience Choice: Local superhero potheads by Curtis McGillivray.
